1st Annual Taste of Playa welcomes nearly three thousand residents and tourists in the largest culinary festival in the Mexican Caribbean.

On Saturday, September 5, 2009, over 25 of Playa del Carmen’s most creative and talented chefs, restaurateurs, beverage purveyors and specialty food merchants gathered in the city center, the seaside Parque Fundadores,  to present their signature dishes  and culinary creations to the residents and visitors of this Mexican Caribbean city.

Taste of Playa 2009 is offering two ticketing options for attendees.

Annual Tequila Expo and Festival runs July 15th-19th, 2009 in Playa del Carmen!

The 2009 Playa del Carmen Tequila Festival and Expo will run from July 15th through July 19th and will be held the corner of Fifth Avenue and Calle 16 Bis in downtown Playa del Carmen. Admission is free, and there will be different tequila products available for tasting, along with a celebration of Mexican culture and traditions.

The Taste of Playa is a new culinary event in Playa del Carmen that will celebrate the creativity and cultural influences of chefs throughout the Riviera Maya. We would like to invite you to the First Annual Taste of Playa September 5th, 2009 from 3:00 PM-9:00 PM at Parque Fundadores in downtown Playa del Carmen.
