First and foremost, he imported a brand spanking new 50x28 foot luxury catamaran from South Africa. It can hold up tp 45 people and works out to be 31 square feet per person! This beautiful, sleek piece of craftsmanship boasts 2 bathrooms, fresh water showers, shaded areas, large lounging areas, and of course the famous “boom net”. Fat Cat has been bringing boat loads of people for fun in the sun for the past 5 years, and even if you have tried it once it is always fun to go again and again. So come and enjoy this fun filled tour and kick back, listen to some great tunes, try their famous rum punch, snorkel in a secluded bay, try the boom net, and you will certainly have the time of your life!

Prior to your departure, from the Dolphin area at the Puerto Aventuras Marina, you will have a 15 minute briefing as you come aboard. As you cruise out of the marina there is soft drink service, fresh fruit platters, great music and turtle spotting. You can also try your hand at sport fishing from the boat en route to a secluded cove, as the Fat Cat sails on the open ocean. Once you arrive at the quiet cove at Bahia Inha, the crew anchors, and you have the opportunity to snorkel on the pristine coral. With over 22 species of tropical fish this makes for an amazing snorkel location for the entire family. After snorkelling, full bar service commences, and you MUST try the famous Fat Cat rum punch. The catamaran then slips into the cove at Bahia Inha where you can saunter off the front steps of the catamaran directly onto an exquisite secluded beach for exploring and laid back beach time. Back on board fresh Guacamole, Salsa, and tortillas, with fresh fruit platters are served so you can easily grab a snack or beverage while enjoying this special beach experience. Once you take off from Bahia Inha the famous ‘boom net’ is deployed for everyone who wants to try this exciting experience in the largest “Jacuzzi” in the world. The day ends with a leisurely sail back to the marina where you can visit the Fat Cat Shop for a souvenir, or cool refreshment, while awaiting transport back to your hotel.
The Fat Cat Catamaran tour includes: If you plan to book the tour, please bring a towel, sunscreen (although part of the boat is covered), swimwear, change of clothes & payment ticket on the day of the sail. We will send an email payment confirmation to take with you. In the event of bad weather or adverse sea conditions on the day of your scheduled tour, The Fat Cat may be forced to cancel your trip. We will attempt to contact you and the FatCat personell will notify you at your hotel as well. If it is not possible for Fat Cat to reschedule you during your stay, the deposit placed will be refunded to you. This tour is not recommended for those who suffer from seasickness. If you have other questions, special requests or need to accommodate a private party or group, we would be glad to inquire. Fat Cat sails daily at 10 AM. The price is $89 USD per adult and $49 USD per child (12 and under). Transportation to the marina in Puerto Aventuras is included in the price. The Playa Maya News Discounted Rate is $80.10 per adult and $44.10 per child.
Fat Cat Catamaran Tour Cancellation and Deposit information: 20% deposit required once your tour reservation is confirmed. Remaining balance due upon pick up. No refunds are available if you do not arrive for the set time of your pick up. For refund of the 30% deposit cancellations need to be made one week prior to the tour date. Comments (0)
