The wind was cooperative, the boarders were flying high, and the spectators were enthusiastic! The regional kite boarding competition in Tulum was a good pick for weekend fun. International competitors came together, at Playa Paraiso in Tulum this past weekend, for a fun filled, sun soaked weekend.

Kenji Jones, from Playa del Carmen, Miguel Castela from Portuagal, Patrick Wiering frm Holland, Zavier Triste from Austalia and Joseph Will, a local area chiropractor were just a few of the competitors that brought the crowds to check out the wave jumping action! Playa del Carmen’s own, Kenji Jones, took home the number one spot, and Dr. Joseph Will, gave him a run for his money, coming into second place. The bathing beauties and hard bodies were out strutting their stuff, and all and all it was an event not to have missed!
