During the first  Eco Expo in Playa del Carmen ecololocally friendly businesses participated in showing their wares and services, and this inspired us to design a "Green Guide" to put the spotlight on businesses that are making a positive impact on our community.  From alternative energy sources, to local organic food products the spectrum of local businesses that offer ecologically sound practices is quite impressive, and growing daily. Below are all of the local businesses that we know that offer eco-friendly services, and please let us know if you, or someone you know qualifies, and we will be more than happy to add them!  Having all of the businesses listed in one place gives people the opportunity to explore the different options and ways they can utilize these progressive local businesses to help lessen the carbon footprint in one of the most beautiful, and unique environments; the Riviera Maya.
