Annual Kiteboarding Competition Coming to Playa del Carmen With the PKRA World Kiteboarding Tour only days away there are some fun activities in Tulum leading up to the event as well as next weekend. Kiteboarders from all over the world are arriving over the next couple of days and they are gearing up for what is sure to be an action packed week of wind and high flying fun. Extreme Control, out of Tulum, would like to invite you to come and fly the friendly skies. Kicking off on Saturday March 1st and Sunday March 2nd and returning after the PKRA on the 10th and 11th of March,you will have the opportunity to test out the latest equipment, fly a trainer kite, and fly with the pros, at this one of a kind event. The event runs from 11:00 AM until sunset, and there will be prizes and giveaways throughout. It is located in the heart of Tulum at the beautiful Playa Paraiso, and is sure to be a blast! For more information visit www.extremecontrol.net The PKRA World Kiteboarding Tour begins on March 5th and runs through March 9th. This is the first stop for the PKRA World Kiteboarding Tour for 2008, and it is guaranteed to be filled with plenty to do and see. DJ's, beautiful people, plenty of cold beer, and oh yea, TONS of Kiteboarders, will ensure a great time!This event will certainly be a great way to spend the week at Playa Mamita's right in the bustling town of Playa del Carmen.
