Playa del Carmen Hosts First Rugby Torunament in the Riviera Maya.

The first annual rugby tournament will be held this weekend in Playa del Carmen at Colegio Mayaland. They are located in El Ejido on Juarez and 125th Avenue. For more informaiton please read more below....

The rugy tournament  will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 22nd and go throughout the day. There will be 9 teams participating from all over Mexico. The tournament will be a 7 side format, which means that each team will have 7 men per team versus the usual 15 men per team. This makes for a faster paced, higher scoring game, and they run 10 minute halves versus 20 minute halves. The tournament is free of charge, and will certainly be a fun way to spend the day! The fun continues on Sunday with an exhibition game at Mamitas Beach; come on out and see what these guys can do!!!
