The Third Annual Wind Festival came to a close yesterday afternoon in Playa del Carmen!Kiteboarders from far corners of the world descended upon the Riviera Maya this past weekend, and the event was a hit! Professional and National kiteboarders came to flex their muscles, and flying abilities. Although the wind was quiet on Saturday in Tulum, it was kicking for the finals on Sunday at Playa Tukan, in Playa del Carmen. The competitors did not disappoint the onlooking crowd and the adrenaline was pumping as riders worked their kites, and showed us some Table Top action!Look below for first place winners, photos, and video (coming soon).....

When I woke up yesterday morning I thought of my perfect day, and I daydreamed about hanging out at the beach with my chick friends, and watching some serious kite boarding! Of course my day would be filled with lots of hotties, and plenty of excitement.....

Well, just as my luck would have it, I checked my calender and, low and behold, the kite boarding finlas were going to be in Playa del Carmen, along with all of my friends, and hotties too! Wow, what luck I have. When I arrived at the beach it was scattered with people, and there were over 30 colorful kites flapping gently in the wind, as they waited to be taken into the water for the compettion.What an incredible sight!

By the time I had gotten to the beach the competion was well underway, and I had arrived just in time to watch the semi-finals. There was plenty of jumping, flying, and face planting to keep me watching on in amazement. The competitors rocked, and the hotties were out in hoards, and oh so easy on the eyes. My friends and I danced, swam, and took in the sun, all the while watching an incredible sport. It was truly an amazingly enjoyable day, and I had gotten up in anticipation of my perfect day, and it played out exactly right! WHAT A LIFE I HAVE!
