Baguiz, the place for baguettes!

They have an extensive sandwich menu to choose from, whether you like fresh baguettes or crossiant sandwiches they have something for you. They specialize in sandwiches only, and they are doing a bang up job!
We tried the turkey, salami, and cheese on a sesame seed baguette, and the vegetarian sandwich (shredded carrot, cucumber, tomatoe, onion and cheese). Enough for two, they were served hot and fresh to our table. Owner, Jose Luis Villa, arrived from Mexico City, just last year, and opened Baguiz shortly after his arrival. Catering to a local clientele, the sandwiches are ample, and the prices are affordable. He will soon be offering in home delivery service to his customers, but for now you can sit down and enjoy a delicious sandwich or take one to go, either way you will be sure to return.
They are located on 20th Avenue between 6th and 8th Street in Playa del Carmen.
They are open 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday.
