How does getting a Mexican Mortgage equate to winning the Super Bowl?

Simply; how do you win a Super Bowl? Well, you win it with sheer talent (seasoned. experienced) and calling (processing) the right plays. I lived most of my youth and adulthood, over 20 years of my life, in Chicago, and the next 10 + years in Florida where I followed the career of Rex Grossman who was a Florida State “Gator”. I can not deny that I was routing for the Chicago Bears this past Super Bowl Game however, had I been thinking with a “cool” head, instead of my heart, I should have known, Rex Grossman had no chance against a talented (seasoned, experienced) quarterback like Payton Manning. This brought me to the conclusion, after working in the Mortgage and Real Estate Business for over 20 years in the USA and now in Playa del Carmen that getting a Mexican Mortgage in Playa del Carmen, DOES Equate to Winning the Super Bowl. And how is that, you say? Well, let’s look at it....

 

 

 

 

 

First, any one of the two teams competing at the Super Bowl has an equal chance of winning it. Same with a mortgage, any mortgage company/broker has a chance of getting your loan done, especially when most of them are offering the same products.

Second, if both teams have the same chances of winning the Super Bowl, winning the game comes down to the sheer (seasoned, experienced) talent and calling (processing) of the plays each team does. Same deal with getting your mortgage done, if all mortgage brokers can offer you the same products, then getting it done reduces itself to the sheer (seasoned, experienced) talent of the mortgage broker and proper play calling (processing) of your mortgage.

Finally, the sheer (seasoned, experienced) talent and play calling (processing) in the field must be provided by the quarterback, and in the mortgage business this sheer (seasoned, experienced) talent and play calling (processing) of your loan file must come from the mortgage broker handling your file.

I have not only heard, but have seen, several cases of mortgage files falling through the “cracks” and not getting done, only to have an irate buyer and/or seller storming into an office, or calling from abroad, accusing the mortgage broker, or realtor, of not doing their job. The only problem was that they relied on the wrong talent and play calling quarterback, and went with the wrong team playing at the Super Bowl of mortgages.

Don’t wait, like I did, for your quarterback to have an outstanding play, or to throw a “Hail Mary” and win the Super Bowl at the last minute of the game, it could give you a heart attack. Fortunately, for everyone involved in the real estate business in Mexico today, we do not have lawsuits to worry about, or at least not yet. So next time you are in the market for a Mortgage in Mexico, find that “seasoned, experienced” mortgage broker you need, that has the right product for you, even though some times, we, unrealistically, want to get a better deal. With the saturation of the new construction market, realtors ought to realize that the real estate trend is soon going to be geared towards resale products. So it is imperative that you are aware of the intricacies of the business and make sure you are betting at the winning team in the “Super Bowl of Mortgages”. So, what have I learned that I would apply at the next Super Bowl Game, is that this time around I will put on my “cool” hat on and will go with the more talented, call playing experienced quarterback. You do the same, get the more seasoned, processing team by getting the more experienced mortgage broker you can find, so you can also win at the “Super Bowl of Mortgages in Playa del Carmen”.
