"You know AMPI is doing this as we inch towards an official federal licensing exam" says Riviera Maya Vice-President Horacio Lopez. Part of the Alliance calls for the mega group of 3 AMPI organizations to align their marketing efforts to improve exposure both in the domestic and international markets. With the use of online Multiple Listing Service systems in both Spanish for the domestic and Spanish speaking markets and in English for the prominent market in the U.S.A and Canada. “Being that the #1 market for the Cancun / Riviera Maya area is the U.S.A., it only makes sense to offer and MLS system in English for those investors and buyers. Currently our MLS system includes the Riviera Maya at www.mslrivieramaya.net. We are working on adding Cancun and Cozumel to the system and seek to present it to the membership with in 4 weeks or less” says Joel Barker, Director General of MLS Mexico. “The real estate world is changing here in Quintana Roo. With vision and leadership we are all making it work” says President of AMPI Riviera Maya Ernesto Riquelme. “It’s an exciting time for all us in the market.
