Dallas-Ft. Worth. Newcomer Intensifies Already Successful Expansion
into Regional Markets
Los Angeles-based Kor Hotel Group announces the opening of three
regional development and real estate sales offices, the first in Playa
del Carmen on Mexico's Riviera Maya, the second in Miami's South Beach
and the third in Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas.
Serving to advance Kor's development, operations and real estate sales
and marketing efforts, these offices mark the next step in Kor's
ongoing national and overseas expansion-strategy within the burgeoning
industry of luxury resort-hotels with residential components. The
Dallas-Ft. Worth office headed by Mike Paneri, Vice President Hotel
Development, opened this week, and the Miami office, slated to open
summer 2006, will be headed by Jason Herthel, Vice President Project
Development and Assistant General Counsel.
"Kor believes that by developing an internal real estate development
and sales and marketing arm we can better serve our customers, and at
the same time maintain the firm's high standard of quality and
service," said Brad Korzen, CEO and President of The Kor Group.
"Operating regional offices in direct proximity to the key luxury
markets Kor is pursuing, Miami, Mexico and the Caribbean, will allow us
to do this most effectively."
Known for its hallmark combination of modern design elements,
top-quality amenities and outstanding service, Kor Hotel Group is
extending this distinctive vision to the three immensely popular luxury
destinations. In Mexico, Kor recognizes the escalating appeal of the
Riviera Maya, with its environmental beauty, prime beach location and
accessible luxury elements. Kor will debut two resort properties in the
region in 2008, Viceroy Riviera Maya Resort & Residences in the
eco-luxury resort destination Mayakoba and The Tides Playa del Carmen.
In Miami, Kor reaffirms the enduring sensation of this vibrant city
through two new projects set to open in 2008, Viceroy Icon Brickell in
Biscayne Bay and Viceroy South Beach, along with ongoing sales of the
renovated hotel-condo units in its newly purchased Tides Hotel in South
Beach. In the Caribbean, Kor's Viceroy Anguilla Resort &
Residences, scheduled to open in 2008, demonstrates an awareness of the
compelling allure of this island paradise.
