Rio Secreto is one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the Riviera Maya.  Descend into never-ending winding passageways and pools formed thousands of years ago.  Swim and walk an easy 600-meter path adorned by thousands of stunning stalactites and stalagmites. This is a unique excursion you will never forget.

Daily Tours: 9:00 AM| 11:00 AM | 1:00 PM| 2:00 PM.  Hotel pick-up times start at 7:20 AM Tour times and pick-up times will vary based on the location of your hotel.

Additional Information

In order to offer you more personalized service, this tour is organized for small groups of up to six participants with a knowledgeable guide. Although this tour is recommended for the entire family including adults and children, the minimum age allowed is six years old.  Guests must be able to walk without assistance and weigh less than 120 Kg/250 lbs. Before taking the tour, we ask that you store the following items inside the lockers provided at our tour location: hats, glasses, sandals that are not secured at the ankle, watches, jewelry that could get tangled or fall off, cameras or video cameras, backpacks and handbags.

Recommendations

We suggest that you wear clothes that are comfortable for walking in the jungle; you should wear a short sleeve t-shirt with your swimming suit underneath, and bring along extra clothes to change into later.  We recommend that you bring extra cash and/or a credit card for purchasing souvenirs, photos, CDs or other items inside the nature reserve.  It is important that you arrive at least 20 minutes before your tour begins.  If you have any physical or mental limitations, we suggest you get in touch with us before purchasing your tour.

Restrictions and Cancellation Policies

Cancellations must be made at least five days in advance, and there will be a 10% surcharge for the cancellation.  If a cancellation is made four days or less prior to the tour or on the same day, a refund will not be given.
