Mexiconservacion is delighted to announce that the Municipality of Tulum's Direccion General de Desarollo Urbano y Ecologia y la Direccion de Servicio Publicos has just re-opened its Recylcing Center.
It is located on the land just opposite of the Expo in Tulum, and although it is still quite basic, the Municipality can now recycle PET plastics, glass, cardboard and paper. If the Recylcing Center proves to be a success, funds will be raised to increase its capacity, and include the safe disposal of batteries.

Playa Del Carmen Real Estate; A Laissez-faire Affair No More
By Enrique Saldana
Laissez-faire: Refusal to interfere in other people’s affairs, or the practice of letting people do as they wish, or the principle of the non-regulation of the real estate industry.
It is a well known fact that Mexico practices the Laissez-faire principle in their real estate industry, and although this principle may very well successfully apply for the economy in general, it is not very healthy in terms of non-regulation of the real estate industry as a profession in Mexico.

I am so excited to write about this time. One of my favorite quotes is , “Life is not measured by the breathes you take but by that which takes your breath away”. If you listen carefully you will find that we are NOW in such times.
The Planets are beautiful!
I have had the pleasure of attending the Andale Bazar for four years running and I can say, without any hesitation, that this was the best year by far! I don't know if the slump in our local economy is driving local residents, craftsmen, artists and vendors to pull out all the stops in an effort to make up for the losses we all have recently incurred. Perhaps, this year Andale owners, Karen and Vianney, spent more time and money on marketing and advertising....

By Shawn Bandick
Hello everyone,
This news letter has been going out from One Stop Real Estate in Playa Del Carmen
for several years now. Today I want to share with you a bit of reality. It is unfortunate when we hear from so many of our friends and clients who love traveling to Mexico, , and they are confused and cannot seem to get a clear picture of how Mexico really is today. I hope to help shed some light on that with this article.

My favorite author for the past 5 years is Dr. David Hawkins. He began with Linus Pauling, whom many of you will remember as the “Vitamin C Doctor”.
I am just reading his 7th, and latest book, after being stunned by his ground breaking, “Power vs. Force”, which I highly recommend to everybody!
I’d like to include a quote from this last book.
