A sad day for family and friends..... As most of you already know, there were 3 men who were injured in the Sol Maya Fire that occurred on Monday, December 27th, at the Sol Maya Condominium Complex, located in Playa del Carmen. All 3 men were severely injured, but Pablo Max Balam suffered the most, due to burned corneas. On Thursday January 13th, Pablo passed away due to health complications caused by the fire... He was surrounded by family and friends who said “He was a sweet and kind man who will be missed by everyone.” So please send your thoughts to the family who lost their husband, son, father, and friend. All of the families affected by the fire are still in need of financial support and help from the community. Because they were the sole supporters of their families they need financial assistance until they have time to heal from this terrible tragedy.
