It Ain't Fair! Is Playa Going to the Dogs? If so, which dogs? Well it might not be so great but I have to release the steam! I have heard so much from so many. I mean even in the new development where we are building our new home in paradise on what is currently a desolate empty dirt road. One a day a PMS'd woman stopped her car to inform me that in this country we ride our bikes on the right side and that my dogs should be on leash! Well I do not want to take from Kerrigan famous cry ...but……WHY ME!!!??? It ain't fair! I live in Playacar – a great place, nice greens, nice people... yeah... you can say that again .... besides the fact that every other morning I have someone yelling at me, with some strange words and believe me, it does not sound very friendly .... Why ???
There goes my dream day of a family outing .... I, for instance will never let my girls run on the greens ... why ???? One is a ball collector - Golf, Tennis and Baseballs- and would love to retrieve any strays.... the other would run, run and run forever taking with her most of the lawn.... But my dogs like to walk off leash, when a call of nature is necessary, could not they have their privacy ?? they know how to heel, stay, and cross the road... The 3 of us respect very much every other person walking, biking, minding their own business... but we still do not accept people yelling from across the street, scared out of their mind because one of the dogs is a Doberman ! ... This is not the start of a good day ... this is not why we came in paradise for! ... and This Ain't Fair ! Evelyne Bevacqua is an ecletic member of Playa’s new resident community. Well .....I brought my two dogs (don't tell them .. they think that they are people too) to share our lives in paradise and enjoy the Caribbean waters. By the time Joe, my husband, best friend and the guy who had to drive the 3800 miles to bring the dogs to this idyllic spot, arrive in playa we find out that there are NO MORE DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH!
