Put your party hats and best costumes on! It is going to be a fun filled party weekend with skeletons, and fright night fun in Playa del Carmen! Bar Ranita, Beer Bucket, Blue Parrot, Coco Maya, Dirty Martini, El Bar, The Jam Session, Luna Blue Hotel , Om Tulum, Santanera, and Xcaret are all having parties and celebrations that kick off Friday, October 30th and run through Monday, November 2nd. Xcaret invites you to come and join in their Day of the Dead Celebration. There will be dance, visual arts, theatre, workshops, music, rituals, food, and more. Entrance is $250.00 pesos per person. For more information visit: www.xcaret.com.mx Saturday, October 31st Bar Ranita- Bar Ranita will be hosting their 8th annual Halloween blow out with live music, drink specials, costume prizes, and extended hours. Party kicks off around 8:00 PM. Bar Ranita is located in the La Rana Cansada Hotel on 10th Street between 5th and 10th Avenues in Playa del Carmen. Beer Bucket- Live music, haunted house, DJ Al, costume contest, drink specials, and more!!! Fun kicks off around 8:00 PM with costume prizes being awarded at 11:30 PM. The Beer Bucket is located on 10th Street between 5th and 10th Avenues in Playa del Carmen. Blue Parrot-Doors open at 10:00 PM, and there is a $10.00 USD discount off of the open bar if you come before midnight. DJ's dancing, drink specials, and costume contest. The Blue Parrot is located on 12th Street and the beach in Playa del Carmen. Coco Maya -Famous DJ Hed Kandi to play at Coco Maya, party starts at 10:00 PM. Drink specials, dancing and fun! Coco Maya is located on 12th Street and the beach in Playa del Carmen. Dirty Martini Lounge -Drink specials for people in costume, scary martini specials, fright night tunes by Greco. Party goes from 8:00 PM until 3:00 AM. The Dirty Martini Lounge is located on 1st Avenue between 10th and 12th Streets in Playa del Carmen. El Bar- Costume party, DJ's, drink specials and more at El Bar. Prizes for both best and worst costumes. Party starts around 10:00 PM and El Bar is located on 10th Street between 1st and 5th Avenues. The Jam Session - Live music, drink specials, and costume contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Party starts at 9:00 PM. The Jam Session is located on 5th Avenue between 28th and 40th Streets in Playa del Carmen. Luna Blue Halloween Fantasy Costume Party - The Luna Blue Hotel bar and cenote are being turned into a Haunted Garden. Yes, there will be music and drink specials and treats and Papa T's special BOO Burgers!!!! But the highlight of the party will be the costumes. So start your planning now...and don't forget this year's theme..."How Wicked Do you Want To Be? There will be prizes for the best girl costume, best guy costume and the most "Wicked" costume. Be prepared and be afraid...be very afraid. Luna Blue Hotel is located on 26th Street between 5th and 10th Avenues and the party kicks off at 7:00 PM. Om Tulum Om Tulum will be hosting a Halloween Full Moon Party. Special guest DJ's Marione and Kurt! Come and enjoy the full moon on the beach. 2 x 1 drink specials until 11:00 PM; no cover.
