We have recieved many e-mails from all over the world asking the state of hotels and resorts in the area.

Many people are worried about family members or are planning trips in the near future, and it is difficult to find detailed information on specific resorts and hotels. Below is information that we were able to find  from other sites and resources, and although we believe it is true and accurate information, things are changing from day to day. Please be patient, and we will add information to this link as we learn more.

Riu Yucatan:
Lots of debris. Sand around building blocks. Large trees in pool. Beach decreaseed. 

Barcelo Maya
Operational, but some services are in disrepair, 200 guest rooms suffered water damage, but will reopen soo.

Iberostar Paraiso Beach/Del Mar
2 restaurants are damaged. Lobby bar damaged. Beach erosion. Kids club and convention center closed.

Royal Hideaway
Said to be reopening by 7/22 but with "limited facilities".

Dorado Royale
Open by 7/21, will be 100% operational.

Palladium
Closed. Should reopen in a week, perhaps a little more.

Secrets Capri
In a clean up mode, minimal damage. 100% functional.
