Cocktail Party for Kirsty Alopaeus shows off her best work

Last night, a cocktail party was held for finnish artist Kirsty Alopaeus. It was presented by Lilia Martha Cisneros and Paulina Cordova at the lovely bar and restaurant Impala in the Corazon Zone of 5^th Street.

Cocktails flowed and those in the know rubbed shoulders with movers, shakers, and candlestick makers..................................

Last night, a cocktail party was held for finnish artist Kirsty Alopaeus. It was presented by Lilia Martha Cisneros and Paulina Cordova at the lovely bar and restaurant Impala in the Corazon Zone of 5^th Street.

Cocktails flowed and those in the know rubbed shoulders with movers, shakers, and candlestick makers.

Kirsty brought in some of the most exquisite works from her studio in Mexico City where she has lived and painted since 1978. Originally from Helsinki in Finland, she live in the U.S.A., Puerto Rico, and Venezuela before settling down in Mexico City to paint what she describes as the lovely and very interesting flavor that is Latin America in “pure color”.

She travels periodically to show her works. They are of oil and canvass and will remain at Impala’s for the rest of the week. They are for sale.
