| Local Artist, Luis Garcia, to Release His Sophomore Album |

Playa del Carmen local, Luis Garcia, is set to release his second album this coming weekend. On Saturday July 1st at 8:00 PM he will be performing live to introduce, Homenaje, a mix of original songs and covers of additional artists. Originally from Mexico City, Luis has lived in Playa del Carmen for the past 7 years, and he is currently teaching at the acclaimed language school, Playalingua. He has been playing acoustic guitar and singing for the past 10 years, and he is truly passionate about his art form....
The concert will be located at the open air theater at the DIF building on 8th Street between 30th and 35th Avenues. He will be accompanied by 4 other local musicians; Javier Gonzalez, on cajon peruano (a rhythm box), Erick Ramirez, on percussion, Jorge Vallejo, on bass, and Jorge Covian on electric guitar. So come out and support local music and art, the event is free of charge and is sure to be a real treat.
