Although this place is always packed, we

couldn't figure out why even after we had tried it once. The service was friendly and

efficient. We ordered a plate of seafood ceviche (after we had been told that it is basically

supposed to be a plate of raw seafood). What we actually got was a plate of cooked seafood which

didn't even seem fresh and it was overpriced compared to another restaurant we went to later

which served real raw ceviche at a quarter of Las Mananitas' price.



The

burritos I ordered was pretty good though and of a generous portion filled with meat stuffing but

again you pay more for the atmosphere and the location of the restaurant and the service. One can

find cheaper places that serve more authentic food just off the main 5th Avenue.
