Thursday February 2md, 2012 Wah Wah Beach Bar in Playa del Carmen opened their doors to the public, and oh what a party it was!  The place was packed with happy party goers enjoying the great live music and bottomless cocktails. Even with the bar 3 people deep the friendly bar staff kept cranking all night long making sure no one was ever thirsty. The cocktails were strong, and the beers were served ice cold...

The kitchen got slammed with 42 orders immediately upon opening, but they did their best to get food to the hundreds of people that all descended upon Wah Wah’s at the same time. The Nasty Bastards jammed out and had the crowd dancing away while various visiting musicians took the stage as well. All in all the party was THE place to be and Wah Wah is sure to be an amazing venue for food, fun, drink, and live music in Playa del Carmen. Congratulations to the Wah Wah Family; you done good!!! I met Kim and JJ thru Deb Payne who spends the winters there and is friends with both. My wife and I went to the Bad Boys many times while down there and had some good times with Kim and JJ...
What a beautiful place they now have, can't wait to get down there and see it for myself.
They deserve this and have worked very hard over the last years developing a following. I have no doubt they will do great with the new venture; good for the town as well.

Best Wishes
Randy
