Ley Seca or Dry Law starts on Saturday! Alcohol ban will be in effect this weekend to accomodate a 70 year old law surrounding the National elections in Mexico. So if you were planning on whooping it up this weekend for the SuperBowl, think again, there are a few restricitons on how you go about doing it! From what our sources have provided us with, the ley seca, or dry law, will begin at 7:30 Saturday morning and conclude on Sunday night at midnight. The only establishments that will be able to serve alcohol will be hotels, and they will be serving registered guests only. If anyone has any additional information regarding the details of the dry law, please fell free to contact us, and keep us in the loop. So buy your booze now, and plan a private party, if you are a staunch SuperBowl / beer fan!
