Half Day Whale Shark Excursion - Punta Sam
The tour begins around 7 AM when a luxury van will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel, after 45 minutes you will get to Punta Sam and receive coffee and a briefing of the tour and then head out on the tour. The boats are some of the safest, fastest and most comfortable in the area. During the boat ride you will very probably see some dolphins as well as manta rays and sea turtles.
In about 45 minutes you will reach the whale sharks and the adventure begins. You will be able to jump into the water from the boat and a professional guide will assist you in swimming with these large and docile creatures. After everyone has had a couple of turns in the water, you will then head to a beautiful reed at nearby Isla Contoy, where you will swim among some amazing fauna and flora of the Caribbean sea.
After the tour is over you will return to Punta Sam and be back to your hotel around 2 pm.
