The on-site restaurant, Jacobi's, offers romantic poolside dining in an open-air, palapa-style restaurant, overlooking the illuminated courtyard, serving authentic Mexican and international specialties.

My 16 year old daughter and I had never been to Mexico, and wanted something smaller and more charming that what we'd heard about Cancun. We found Aventura Mexicana on the net.
It was meticulously clean, quiet, and overall just lovely. We were steps away from the main street, and a few blocks to the most gorgeous beach ever. Our breakfasts are the only meals we ate at the hotel, and they were fantastic. We were so happy that we didn't pick one of the hotels on the main street. I would go back to this hotel in a minute, and have reccommended it to friends.
Truly a gem.
