I am sorry that I missed last month. It was a huge learning curve for me which I would like to share. Ketu, or south node of the moon for those of you who have some western astrology knowledge, is transiting my Sun exactly. Ketu is the ‘chia graha’ in Sanskrit, which means, ‘shadow planet’.
It is the eclipse point. Ketu is the place akin to what we would see as the black hole in our universe. It is highly misunderstood and poses so many questions, because it is the place that stars are born and die. It is the great mystic mystery. One of the areas that ketu rules is ‘misdiagnoses’!
I left Tulum on July 30th and travelled back to Vancouver. Within a day I was ill, with what I now understand was dengue fever, which one can get living off the grid in the jungle! With a fever of 40, I was studied here in BC by a south African doctor who has seen lots of malaria. She told me I had malaria and put me on malaria medication!! Apparently malaria medication is worse than having malaria. So there I was with dengue fever on malaria medication. Brutal!! Missed my monthly column here! When I was done the meds, they informed me that they had misdiagnosed me!! It has taken weeks to get back to normal.
In the process, I have learned the truth again, that Astrology is a scared language that is there to help us understand and cope with living on this planet! I suspected I was misdiagnosed, but was too sick to do anything about it! I wanted to share this story for my readers!
So, this month, the big news is that Saturn finally leaves Leo after 2.5 yrs. One Sept.11th, Saturn will move into Virgo , and those of us with Sun or Moon in Leo will begin to feel huge relief. Those of us with Moon in Virgo will now undergo the Sadi Sati..Saturns’ passage over the Moon. A challenging time.
Venus is travelling with Ketu in Cancer until the 15th which means there may be all kinds of misconceptions and mysteries surrounding love life. On the 15th Venus moves into Leo, just as Saturn leaves Leo…very interesting energy. Watch for dramatic shifts.
We are approaching 2012, and people are trying their hardest to ignore the fact. Align with your truth. Do not settle. Get busy making your dreams come true. We are living in critical times.
