Astrology, Healing, Yoga, and Metaphysics
in the Riviera Maya
September 3rd is Ganesha's birthday. Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu God is ruled by Jupiter, and the God Brihaspiti, the ruler of the universe. I have meditated in the cave that Ganesha is said to have lived in, high up in the Himalayas at the base of the now underground Sarawswati River. Good fortune, abundance, different cultures and races, justice, long distance travel and higher spiritual learning like religion and astrology are under Ganesha's domain. Many know that chanting to Ganesha will remove obstacles. ..Here is the easiest chant: Om Gaum Ganapati Namaha.
Something occurred to me in August as I roamed the Tulum beaches around midnight waiting to be graced by a Goddess Turtle magic time; Jupiter is around 27degrees of Sagittarius these past few months, which is, in a Eureka ahaa moment realized the same celestial location of the alignment in December 2012! The Mayans settled in this area, and if you look up at Jupiter, the bright star to the south in the evenings, it is almost directly over Tulum. Remembering that there are no mistakes, it makes so much sense. So locate Jupiter and know that this area is in the middle of the Milky Way and our ‘center of the universe". It is a black mysterious hole that is a major portal for stars entering and exiting our sky. Is there an equivalent to Ganesha in the Mayan Astrology? Does anybody know? For those of you that survived August with its 2 new moons, and 2 eclipses, September gives us a bit of a rest. September 11th, Jupiter goes back into a forward direction, unblocking the flow for many of us. Sun and Saturn are exactly together on Ganesha's birthday; expect some global statement affecting the economic and environmental reality checkup. Mars, Venus and exalted Mercury are all in Virgo from the 7th through the 12th. This is one of the multiple conjunctions that Mars and Venus are going to make in different signs over the coming months. When together in the sky they are said to be in a Yuddh or planetary war. Mercury is so powerful in this sign that many will find that so much gets' said this month, (helping out a debilitated Venus) both good and bad. That is specifically from the 11th-13th. A good goal for this period is to bring everything into integrity. Also important to know during September, it is the time of honouring our Pitris in Sanskrit, which means ‘forefathers'. Take time in your mediation and outward life to thank all past members of society who have come before us so that we may be here. September 16th-29th are the specific prayer days. In this we will honor the Mayans who we understand to have been astronomers and gardeners, not warriors. Now here is a question: Who were the Mayans' forefathers? Speaking of forefathers, in August I was lucky enough to spend an evening in Tepozland. Now there is a mystical place! Quetzalcoatl is buried in this area. He is said to have been an 8 foot feathered snake. He is the main Aztec God connected with Venus and patron God of Aztec priesthood, learning and knowledge. He is said to oppose human sacrifice. In completion, the full moon on the 15th is in Virgo/Pisces with the midnight hour also aligning with Uranus. It's our right to grow and transform and be our best. You don't need to apologize for your excellance and know that everybody is part of our family, so when we grow our genuses grows. The new moon on the 29th is also in Virgo. Jejeje. Just clean up the messes, that's all! Blessings, and see you next month! Devata This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it Trackback(0)
