Power Yoga in Paradise; an instructional yoga DVD filmed in the Riviera Maya.

Paula Liebe, originally from Holland, has lived in Playa del Carmen since 2000. She became a student of yoga upon her arrival in the area, and completed her teacher training in 2003. Influenced by the famous, Bryan Kest, Vinassya Flow (Power Yoga) Master, she has taught in local area studios such as: Area, Center 8, and The Gym as well as private classes.  

In the summer of 2007 she returned to Holland for the first time in 5 years for a family visit, and re-connected with her childhood sweetheart, Honza. Extending her stay they then travelled to his native city of Prague where she introduced Honza and his children to her yoga practices. Finding a new inspiration she started thinking of videoing some of her classes, when the idea was proposed to her to create a professional instructional yoga video.

A year later this labor of love came to fruition; Power Yoga in Paradise with Paula Liebe. The first of its kind filmed in the Riviera Maya, Power Yoga in Paradise, is an hour long instructional video designed for all levels of practice. Power Yoga in Paradise is offered in both Spanish and English, both of which are spoken by Paula, which adds another unique facet to the video. Filmed in 13 locations in the Riviera Maya; from Puerto Morelos, Power Yoga in Paradise, will initially be distributed in Mexico, and South America, but will eventually be offered in Dutch, German, and French, to encompass and even wider audience.

You are invited to come to the premiere viewing on December 14^th, 2008 at 2:00 PM on the corner of 30^th Street and 25^th Avenue in the common area of Villas Del Carmen.  The Power Yoga in Paradise DVD will be offered at the event at a 20% discount for $200.00 pesos, and 10% of all net proceeds will go to the Liebe Foundation, a non-profit organization, that offers classes and training to Mexican National women, who might not otherwise have the means, to pursue both yoga classes and training.
