Sunday, 09 January 2005

By The Healthy Chef

Coriander is considered both an herb and a spice since both its leaves and its seeds are used for cooking. Fresh coriander leaves are more commonly known as cilantro and bear a strong resemblance to Italian flat leaf parsley. This is not surprising owing to the fact that they belong to the same plant family......

Marisa Lopez sent this to PMN and it is a very interesting read; something perhaps, for us all to remember?

Dec 16th 2004 | MEXICO CITY

From The Economist print edition

Mexico now enjoys two important characteristics of rich countries. Unfortunately, they are obesity and diabetes.

Food and drink play a major role in Christmas celebrations in most countries, but in few more so than in Mexico. Work those legs…..

Last week we spoke about taking care of your precious feet. Making them feel relaxed, therefore the body can feel the effects. If you tried the few items listed you found that your whole body relaxed and that is great. If you didn’t try it … go back to the article (Soothe Your Feet) and do what it suggests; for life. Don’t you deserve it??

feetBy: Susan Heart

Get ready for the holidays by taking care of your feet!

Yes, they’re here, once again, and if I may add….. So Soon. Weren’t we just celebrating New Years Eve 2003/04??? Well, we have to think about our shapes, before we gouge ourselves with holidays’ gastronomic fan fair.

Let’s start with….. feet! I bet you’re on your feet a lot as you are starting to run around buying goodies. Well, how is your lower back feeling? And what about your shoulders? That’s why reflexologists make people feel good, just by working on their feet.

I know this will sound funny, but do you have a baking `rolling pin’ around? If not, how about a 4 inch long `unopened can’ that is about 3 inches in circumference? ................

As Jerry Seinfeld used to say… “Yada Yada Yada…” I don’t want to hear the excuses, come one… Get out your Yoga Mat and or Towel and place it open on the floor. Let’s do our A,B,C’s..........
