I was wondering if there was a calendar of upcoming events on this playamayanews website. For instance I noticed that the Reggae festival is mentioned currently, and I believe it has already ended, but I would enjoy learning about events such as this that are coming up in the coming weeks and months ahead. For instance last year there was a Tequila Festival in town, I want to say in August. Will this be an annual event? If so, a calendar with events coming up would be a way for people to know what is happening in town. It also would be helpful for vacation planning for those who would like to coincide their vacation with a special event. Other events that seem to be annual include the Mayakoba golf tournament and various other sporting events.

It can be really hard to find out information ahead of time here! Most of the time I find out about an event AFTER the fact. However, I have started a new thread with some upcoming events over the next few months. I have actually contacted the tourist board as well to see if they can send me an updated calendar of events. I will be making my BEST effort to try and get more information on local Playa del Carmen events prior to them happening. IF someone knows of an upcoming event please post it in the thread above.....
