Relocating to Playa from chilly Colorado! 10 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hello, we are two grown and very neat adults relocating to Playa this summer and will require either long term rental or purchase of a home, villa, condo.

Just two of us but we prefer a 2-3 bedroom so our grown children and family can visit. Up to 1,500 per month.

Close/near the ocean, Playacar 2 maybe.

Does anyone have any ideas or rentals out there?

We will most likely be working within the time share business.

Sorry no one had answered yet. It is pretty rare to find a long term rental without being here already, as almost all rentals on line are of the vacation variety (read, expensive and by the week).

The standard method for finding rentals is to book a hotel for a couple of nights, then pick up Andale magazine (which has the most rental ads available anywhere); check the bulletin boards at Pizza Pazza locations; and walk the town looking for "se renta" signs in your favoured neighbourhoods.

On the other hand, if you are coming between May 24 and Aug 23, our two-bedroom house is available (but only for that period). Perhaps you could use it as a _base_ for househunting and it is very reasonable, only US$450 per week. We're five blocks from the beach and very central for expat housing in the north end. So if that would interest you, check it out at www dot vrbo dot com / 28621.

In any case, I hope everything goes well for you!

Caroline
