Tequila Festival kicks off this Thursday and runs through Sunday April 2nd, and Playa del Carmen will be filled with raucous and funfilled taste testers!

Remember last year, and how much fun it was? Or maybe not because after all it is a tequila festival. But we were thinking ahead and captured it on video for proof! So read more below for times, information, and our video documenting the last tequila festival!

Initially cancelled from its Novmeber time slot due to Hurricane Wilma, all of you tequila aficionados will be happy to hear it is starting this Thursday!

The 2006 Tequila Expo and Festival located on the corner of 16th and 5th Avenue in the heart of Playa del Carmen begins Thursday afternon, and runs through Sunday night with the crowning of Miss Tequila Riviera Maya. There will be food, music, art, and of course copious amounts of tequila. The entry fee should be minimal with the last years fees running 50 pesos with unlimited tastes of tequila.
