Tequila Expo coming to Playa del Carmen August 16th through 18th. We have received countless inquires on when the Tequila Expo 2007 will take place. It was finally announced for this coming August and is sure to be a great event! Lupita Infante, daughter of legendary Mexican actor and singer Pedro Infante, will be hosting the festivities, and it looks like there will be plenty of fun to be had. With over 500 tequila products, and distributors from all over Mexico, if you are a tequila lover you certainly do not want to miss it. In addition to free samplings of tequila there will be food, music, arts and crafts, as well as the attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s largest margarita. They will be making a margarita of more then 250 liters, and they certainly are going to need help to make sure it doesn’t go to waste! The 2007 Tequila Expo will be held on 16th Bis between 5th and 10th Avenue in downtown Playa del Carmen. With no entrance fee and free tequila what are you waiting for?Trackback(0)

As a Canadian Lover of both Tequila and Playa del Carmen, I will for sure be in attendance for the entire festival!!! Can't wait!!

It was a grand event, unfortunately the hurricane forced most people out a day early.
