Whether you would like to attend an avant garde art show, or
chow down on wings and suds for Super Bowl XLI, here are a couple of things
happening around town this weekend.
Super Bowl 41- The Super Bowl is this coming Sunday, February 4th at
4:00 PM. Hosted in Miami
for the 9th time, The Chicago Bears and The Indianapolis Colts will
throw down to see who takes home the coveted Super Bowl Trophy and the serious
cash and prizes. With Prince playing the half time show, and the famous Super Bowl
commercials that will be aired, it is guaranteed that all of the local sports
bars will be overflowing with hardcore fans as well as all of the halftime
hopheads. So check out all of the local watering holes, and sports bars, in Playa del Carmen and see
where you want to park yourself for the Super Bowl festivities.
Art Show at Rumbo Deco- Local artist, Yohanan Meshoulam,
will be having an art exhibition this Saturday, February 3rd, at
Rumbo Deco in Playa del Carmen. The exhibition will feature pieces that are
created using a unique cloth and topographical medium, and the show begins at
6:00 PM. If you would like to attend the exhibit Rumbo Deco is located on 1st
