Put your party hats and best costumes on! It is going to be a week filled with skeletons, and fright night fun in Playa del Carmen! Xcaret, Bar Ranita, Pinche Gringo's, La Santanera, OM Bar, Jam Session , and O' Barzhino, are all having parties and celebrations that kick off today and run through Saturday November 3rd. October 30th through November 2nd Xcaret invites you to come and join in their Day of the Dead Celebration. There will be dance, visual arts, theatre, workshops, music, rituals, food, and more. Entrance is free to locals that live in the state of Quintana Roo so bring an official form of identification (FM3 or driver's licenses for foreign residents), and you can enjoy this cultural event free of charge right in your own back yard! For more information visit: www.xcaret.com.mx Wednesday October 31st Bar Ranita- Bar Ranita will be hosting their annual Halloween blow out with live music, drink specials, costume prizes, and extended hours. Party kicks off around 9:00 PM. Bar Ranita is located in the La Rana Cansada Hotel on 10th Street between 5th and 10th Avenues in Playa del Carmen. Pinche Gringo's- Pinche Gringo's will be hosting their first annual Halloween party, and will definitely be on the party circuit tomorrow night. Pinche Gringo's is located on the corner of 1st Avenue and 26th Street in Playa del Carmen. La Santanera- La Santanera will be holding a costume contest closer to 11:00 PM or midnight, and they have some kick ass prizes! First Place: Sky dive for 2, romantic dinner for 2 at Ula Gula, overnight in Tulum at UNO Astrolodge, dinner for 2 at Mezzanine, one night at Hotel Basico, and bottle service from Casa Cuervo Second Place: Day and night at Al Cielo in Xpu-Ha; all inclusive, free scuba dive for 2, dinner for 2 at Di Vino, and bottle service from Casa Cuervo Best group (3 to 5 people): Dinner for up to 5 people at Diablito's Cha Cha Cha, 1 and ½ hour catamaran trip with Dany y Tanga, 5 Alltournative passes, and bottle service from Casa Cuervo. La Santanera is located on 12th Street between 5th and 10th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. Friday November 2nd Om Bar- Om Bar will be hosting a Halloween and Day on the Dead party on Friday November 2nd. Come in your costume, and there will be prizes and drink specials all night. Om Bar is located on the corner of 12th Street and the beach kitty corner from the Blue Parrot entrance in Playa del Carmen. O' Barzhino- O'Barzhino will be hosting a Halloween and Day of the Dead Party on Friday November 2nd starting at 9:00 PM. There is an open bar, with exotic Brazilian drinks for only $300.00 pesos for the entire night! In addition they will not only be giving away prizes for the best costume, but also the worst! O'Barzhino is located on the corner of 12th Street and 10th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. Saturday November 3rd The Jam Session- The Jam Session will be throwing a Halloween and Day of the Dead Bash. Festivities kick off at 9:00 PM and go until 5:00 AM! Live music, costume contest, and drink specials will be happening all night.
