Crecer Juntos is a professional educational service in the Mayan Riviera Area helping young people achieve success. Our mission is to provide expert tutoring in a wide array of subjects to students of all ages, inspiring their intellectual curiosity and motivating them to a higher level of understanding and academic success.
In a world where children are expected to acquire a number of languages, keep up with the ever-expanding world of modern technology, and become independent thinkers and problem-solvers, parents can use all the help available to assure their children thrive at school today, and in their lives in the future.
As children develop they must learn academic skills, as well as life skills that enable them to navigate school, extra-curricular activities, and friendships in order to grow.
Crecer Juntos provides much more than an English language class.
We help children succeed by teaching them:

Study Skills: Students become organized and we teach them how to focus on schoolwork. We teach students to be independent learners.
b.
Test Taking Skills: Students learn ways to alleviate test anxiety and help them learn how to take tests with confidence.
c.
Life Skills: Children learn how to navigate independently in the world with other people. We work on social interaction skills, and teach how to manage everyday situations.
Crecer Juntos helps students set and reach their educational goals by targeting each student’s unique needs and working with an individualized learning plan. We begin with a consultation to assess the child's academic and social needs, including a diagnostic grade level assessment.

Crecer Juntos…Grow Together believes that every child can succeed when provided with the right nurturing, and skill-set.
We have over 30 years of educational experience in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
Dr. Alicia Meno earned her Doctorate of Education from DePaul University, Chicago, and is the author of Professional Development Reform (2008).
Jim Conklin has served as school administrator, English and Social Department Head, teacher and coach.
We have been living in Playa for the past 3 years.
