Originally in the hotel zone in Cancun this very commercial night club has now opened a location in Playa del Carmen. They have a nightly Vegas styl show that keeps people coming back night after night.

Beware
First, I must say that this show is absolutely amazing! The talent is spectacular and the atmosphere is fantastic!
Our server, Edgar, looked after us very well and kept the drinks coming!
We (my girlfriend and I) even got up on stage to dance (a freakin' amazing experience!).
Unfortunately, we made the mistake of purchasing a photo from the photographer there. We paid $20 and were told that we could pick the photo up at the end of the night on our way out. At 3:20 (10 minutes before we were to catch our ride back to the resort) we went looking for the photographer to pick up our photo. By the time we found out he skipped out on us, we missed our ride and then had to pay $10 MORE for a taxi back to the resort. This event ruined the night for me so I am giving the overall experience a rating of 2 as I don't think the Coco Bongo should allow this sort of thing to happen. It's just not right to rip people off while they're having a good time on vacation.
Anyhow, just beware....if you want a picture while you're at the Coco Bongo in Playa Del Carmen, take it yourself and save yourself the $20.
