More than 10,000 visitors and 200 companies are expected to attend Expo Construcción Yucatán 2007, the State Government announced this week.

The Mexican State of Yucatan's 10th annual construction expo will be held in the 21st Century Convention Center in Merida, from May 31 to June 3.

Considered the principal forum for showcasing new construction technology in the south-east of Mexico, the event includes a machinery spectacular called "The Monsters of Construction".

World's Largest Cruise Ship To Visit Cozumel

Liberty of the Seas in Finland

Royal Caribbean cruise line's newest ship, the Liberty of the Seas will make its first stop in Cozumel on May 24th, 2007.

The ship was constructed in Finland and is currently on its way to the US. It shares the title of world's largest cruise ship with sister ship, the Freedom of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean said the Liberty will be the first in their fleet to showcase new and distinctive wellness, family and wedding programming, which will be rolled out fleet-wide.

The ship has a capacity of 3,634 guests and features a 445 foot-long 'Royal Promenade' with restaurants, shops and lounges.

Liberty will depart on Saturdays from Miami and will alternate between 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean routes, the Western Caribbean itinerary will call in Cozumel; George Town, Cayman Islands; and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
