Important news and updates from the Consulars office in Cozumel.

Club Rotario (Rotary Club) has many English speaking members and they cordially invite the participation of anyone who wants to attend.

They have a student exchange program, as well as other projects, such as building a shelter for those left homeless after Hurricane Wilma.

Tax Season is here !

IRS representative, Bobbette Abeyta will be in Mexico City on March 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th to discuss taxes with Americans that may have questions or concerns. Phone appointments can also be arranged if you cannot come in person.

To schedule an individual appointment or attend one of the seminars that will be offered, please call (55) 5080 2000 ext. 4780. There will be a special seminar for Embassy employees on the 1st floor auditorium on Wednesday, March 1st from 3-4 pm. The seminars will be useful to U.S. Citizens who file 1040 tax returns and will also include important information on foreign issues such as foreign tax credit and foreign earned income exclusion.
