Cozumel Update

Friend's and family trying to locate Camella Katz, a house bound woman could use assistance, and helpful links for more information on the after effects of Emily. Read more below for the latest updates for Cozumel.....

If anyone is in contact with Camella Katz who works at La Ceiba/El Cid or if you know anything of her situation could you calll me - her mother has not heard from her so she is very worried.

Local resident  Mary Evans is home from the hospital, but at the moment she is still bedridden . If you know of anyone who does home care orif you could help by spending some  time with Mary please contact me,Bill Horn @ 872-3101  or  Sheryl Shea @ 044 987 878 0186 Mary doesn't really need a nurse - she is stable but needs a lot of help to move around, bathe, etc.  Mary's house weathered the storm OK but she does not have phone, power or water. There is still water in the tinaco.

I sure hope that everybody made it through the storm OK. There are lots of folks asking for information on the conditions at hotels, favorite dives, etc. so if you can give them accurate information please log on to :

If you can post some helpful information it would go a long way towards combating the media misinformation in the US that Cozumel has been "devastated" .
