Local Cozumel author writes an incredible undersea adventure!

I've been an avid reader all my life.  I got in trouble most nights by staying up too late reading a book; I even resorted to the flashlight under the bedcovers method a few times.  I will read most anything; Science Fiction, Philosophy, bestsellers, trashy beach novels…I'm pretty open.

So, of course, when I found out that a client (of Cozumel Living) who had recently purchased a condo here was also an author, I immediately started begging for a copy of his recent book, Dangerous Waters.

As the back cover blurb will tell you, the main character, Terry Hunter, moves to Cozumel after a ferocious shark attack changes her life.  She rebuilds her life, and opens a successful dive operation when the tide turns for Terry once again.  When she suddenly gets involved in an international drug smuggling ring and meets NYC detective Joe Manetta, Terry finds herself in dangerous water once again.

Terry Hunter is a woman who faces many life-altering changes, and she is a woman who you really want to see succeed.  Her story is dramatic and her quest for happiness and peace can strike a chord with us all.  The book is an interesting blend of action and romance, with a dash of Caribbean locale and SCUBA diving adventure.  It’s a great book for a vacation read, or if you just need your Cozumel diving fix.

With deadly sharks, international crime, and an old-fashioned love story, Terry Hunter’s story is an interesting read.  Personally, I am waiting for the next book, Whales’ Angels.  Terry travels to the Dominican Republic to swim with humpbacked whales, and gets involved with the struggle against commercial whaling…You can be sure that I will go with her!
