Cafe de LileBy: Jersy Augustyniak aka Jorge

Thought you might like to hear about another little restaurant that I found interesting in Cozumel. It's called Cafe' de L'ile and as you might have guessed from the name, it has a bit of French flare to it.

It's brand new and right on Rafael Melgar along the oceanfront; a very nice place to stop in for breakfast or lunch. Great menu, filled with lots of stuff I have a hard time pronouncing. Good thing Sandra and Philippe are always there to help me with the selections.

Some very tasty things to be had here and the prices are very reasonable ...............

insideThe restaurant has two levels. The main floor is nicely decorated with artwork from local artists. Nice cozy dining tables, counter and chairs. Upstairs, you will find plush red leather sofas and chairs that you can kick back in for as long as you like. Listen to music, watch TV, play chess, drink some coffee and just relax for a while. Also a great view of the ocean from up there.

Sandra and Philippe Dupuit are the proprietors and are always there to make you feel at home. They are really great people to get to know. Juan Pablo, Jon Philippe and Alex, their three boys, also help out around the restaurant when they're not out diving, snorkeling or fishing!

ownersSo, the next time you’re in Cozumel, stop by Cafe' de L'ile. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
