Angel Notion founder and director, Lavonna Redman needs the communities support to help with her own medical problem!

You must surely be familiar with the work of Ayuda de los Angeles AC (Angel Notion) which has changed, and saved the lives, of so many people in the community of Playa Del Carmen. For more than 7 years Angel Notion has been bringing specialized medical services to the poorest people in the state of Quintana Roo.

We wanted to let everyone know that Lavonna Reman, founder and director of Angel Notion, is the one in need of our prayers, love, and support right now. Lavonna requires an urgent surgery to correct a spinal problem that is generating a great deal of pain, and is limiting her ability to keep up with the work that she has so passionately and diligently dedicated her life to. The spinal problem is with the lumbar 4 and lumbar 5 in her vertebrae which are now both herniated disks. This is causing nerve damage in her right leg, as well as a constant pain, limiting her ability to move. Lavonna is always worried about doing something to benefit others and has left her own health as the last priority on her list.

We want to call upon this community that has received unconditional support from her so we can return the favor by supporting her in order to cover her surgery expenses. Her medical care and expenses add up to $35,000 USD (including travel expenses). So far people have donated $12,250 USD, but that still leaves US$ 23,750 that we need to raise. Her surgery is planned for the 29th of May so we are limited on time! If you are able to support her, any donation will be welcome, and you can make them by choosing an option from the list below. Please help in any way you can; no donation is too small! Let us extend a helping hand to a woman that has done so much.

This Saturday, May 12th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bad Boys on the beach (located on 4th street and the beach). Live music, raffle and prizes, drinks, and an all around good time. Come out and join this fundraising effort and have a blast at the same time!
