FREE spay and neuter animal clinic - Playa del Carmen August 9th through 12th, 2008.

The 2008 Vidas FREE Sterilization Clinic is scheduled for August 9th-12th, 2008 in Playa del Carmen (location to be announced). They are hoping to organize a 2 day clinic in Puerto Morelos as well on August 14th and 15th.

It is time to search for donated housing for the visiting vets. They will need to find housing for up to 15 people in Playa del Carmen starting August 7th and leaving on August 13th for the Playa del Carmen Clinic dates. If anyone has any ideas, or properties, that can be donated for their stay, please contact Sherry Stevens at the number below.

Another request, if anyone is willing to foster kittens from time to time, please let her know. There is a Volunteer who is working with the local animal shelter that has been working hard to find families for kittens. Each will be sterilized before finding homes, but she has more kittens than she can keep in her apartment from time to time. If anyone is willing and has a safe place for kittens while homes are being looked for... please let Sherry know.
