Remember Baby Maria Guadalupe? She needs the community to come together once again and give her a chance to continue her life.

She needs your help NOW!

She is only 3 months old. Maria was Born with an Extrofia Vesical (no formed vagina) as well she is in need of Orthopedic surgery to close her spine - her legs stay open. Without it, she will never be able to walk.

Maria was operated on three weeks ago at the Instituto Mexicano de Pediatria in Mexico City. It was urgent surgery for her bladder and vagina. We have just learned the surgery was unsuccessful and she needs another................

Let’s unite as a community and help together for the benefit of all.

MSU is coming in Oct to scout out 2005’s mission to help children and their families that are in need of surgeries. It looks like there are 4 confirmed surgeons - Dr. Smith, Dr. Livingston and two others. They will bring their own surgical team and recovery team to do the surgeries. This will happen in the spring of 2005. It will be lots of planning. If anyone has ideas about raising fund for this project please contact Angel Notion.

Man swims from Cozumel to Cancun to Save Coral

A 61-year-old Texan gentleman needed 16 hours to swim the robust Caribbean waters between Cozumel Island and Cancun on Thursday, completing a journey designed to promote the protection of coral reefs.

Paul Ellis, a businessman from Austin, began the 35 mile swim shortly after midnight, crossing the Channel and then swimming along the coast. He was met by workers from the Red Cross after reaching Cancun at 4:40pm, said friend Jacque Chrisman.

“The medical team said he looks good and that he's very excited," Chrisman said.

A Dying Baby is Saved and Thanks to One Tremendous Spirit, Everything is Coming Up Roses and Angels for Playa's Children

On a typical Playa del Carmen day, in 1999, a young lady from Bend, Oregon was walking down the street to do her typical shopping. She was here in Playa like most – to live on the beach, run a small business, and live a quiet life and raise their children.

On her way to the Super Maz, the local shopping market, she saw a young lady holding a baby. They baby was blue, and to her, the child seemed to be dead. Since she hardly spoke any Spanish, she didn’t know what could she do? She turned her back, and drove home to her busy new lifestyle. And that’s where the story would have ended. Except, as she was driving away, she stopped, turned her car around as if a force grabbed her! The voices grew loud and strong “You have to go back, you have to go back and ask this woman what is going on.”

She caught up with the young mother “My baby is dying” the young mother explained.
