Gala Art Auction and Raffle to Benefit Los Bomberos in Playa del Carmen!
Zenzi will be holding a Gala Auction with all proceeds going to our local Fire Department; Los Bomberos!
Saturday April 18th, 2009 at Zenzi; located on 10th Street and the beach in Playa del Carmen.
The evening begins at 6:30 PM for cocktails, followed by a gourmet buffet...
The Auction will begin at 9:00 PM and will be hosted by The President of the Fire Deparmtnet, Brian Borjesson who has made our "Bomberos" one of the best trained and equipped in the country. The items on sale are too many to list, but include original art by Gordon Gilchrist , amazing jewelry, meals in restaurants, tickets for tours and excursions, and many, many more! Local musicians will play live during the evening, and provide entertainment for everyone.
Dress to Impress!
Tickets are $250.00 Pesos and can be purchased at Zenzi.
Again all proceeds will be given to our local fire department who without your support would not be able to provide such a fantastic service.
Gourmet Buffet Menu:
Cucumber rounds topped with smoked salmon mousse finished with dill cream sauce and parsley for garnish.
Fresh tomato, basil, garlic and olive oil served on a pesto crostini finished with balsamic drizzle.
Marinated tuna with chipotle dressing served on a crispy tostada with a bed of guacamole.
Ceviche-Shrimp, grouper, tomatoes, red onion, serrano peppers and cilantro marinated with fresh lemon juice.
Guacamole, pico de gallo and chips.
Mixed green salad with fresh vegetables and citrus vinaigrette.
Hawaiian Chicken Grilled chicken breast served with pineapple chutney.
Baked pasta with tomatoes, peppers, olives, red sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.
Beef kebabs, marinated with fresh herbs, grilled and served with spicy Thai sauce.
Fresh rolls and butter.
