On Friday, November 30th, the Pinche Gringo bar is hosting a fundraising auction/raffle to benefit the Peanut Pet Shelter located in Playa del Carmen.

As some of you know by now, The Peanut Pet Shelter is a no-kill pet shelter to rescue stray dogs and cats from the streets, get them spayed/neutered, vaccinated and healthy, work to re-home the adoptable dogs, and provide a safe haven for the rest. In the relatively short time the shelter has existed, they have already made a huge difference in the lives of many animals that had no other opportunities for a safe, loving home.

The Peanut Pet Shelter exists solely on donations, and no gift is too small or inconsequential to help these animals. Here are the details of the fundraising event on November 30th; we hope you can all make it.
When: Friday, November 30^th, 2007
Where: The Pinche Gringo located on the corner of 26^th Street and 1^st Avenue in Playa del Carmen.
Time: 7:00 PM until?? (The bar doesn't close until 2:00 AM!)
What for: Live music with Chris Bolister and other special guests, a good booze-up, and raffle/auction of donated prizes by local merchants and service providers like Yucatan Explorer

Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Andy at the Peanut Pet Shelter or they will be available on the day of the raffle. Anyone with donations from the Peanut Pet Shelter wish list is welcome to bring them down that night too!

At Pinche Gringo, all beers will be 20 pesos and all Smirnoff, Bacardi, House Tequila, and Jaegermeister will be 35 pesos.
