Christmas is for the children and Angel Notion and the Bomberos are going all out for them again this year!

Take a stroll down 5^th Avenue and you will see the block with the most heart is between 10th and 12^th Street.

You cannot miss the tree and the flurry of activity as volunteers work tirelessly to make sure this Christmas is a bright one for so many children in Playa del Carmen.....................

The tree is set up right in front of the Tequila Barrel and the No Name Sports Bar.

Children’s names and their wishes hang on the tree – all you have to do is pick one and sign up to pledge that gift.

If you prefer to volunteer your time you are also welcome to sign up for a number of needed things and activities.

Would you like to entertain by the tree from December 12^th to 24^th? You can also find out more about surprising less fortunate children on Christmas Eve. Volunteers are also needed to help man the tree on 5^th Avenue between now and December 24^th. Vehicles are needed, organizers are needed, and helpers at the various events are needed.

Stop by and you too will feel the reason for the season!

Lavonna (Angel Notion) and Edie (Bomberos) would also like to say a special thank you to the Tequila Barrel and Joe Anne Rompot owner or the No Name Sports Bar. They have given their time and their space and even help with food and drinks for many volunteers on many occasions.

You can also buy Bomberos hats and clothing at the No Name Sports Bar and all proceeds go to help our local Firemen and their families. Our Bomberos work tirelessly for very poor wages to help keep us all safe.

Edie and Lavonna also sing the praises of all the other wonderful angels who help them! They tell us it couldn’t be done without all the wonderful support of the community.
