Angel Notion and Moises send out a special thanks. Thank you to our community; we are making a difference! Angel Notion would like to thank the community for their continued support and commitment to making positive changes in people’s lives! They can not do it without us and appreciate the ongoing support of the community.
Moises, the young man with nose bifida, has received the needed donations to make his reconstructive surgery possible. He is getting ready to make the journey with Doctor Salazar to Lansing, Michigan to have this life changing surgery. Dr. Salazar is accompanying Moises, not only as his medical doctor, but as his companion and translator as well. Dr. Salazar will be receiving top-notch education from Dr. Poletes, and his world renowned team, to enable him to practice the same surgical techniques here in Playa del Carmen. It is from all of the support in our community that all of this is even possible. We would like to thank the following people for their donations and support, and if we have missed someone PLEASE let us know and we will be happy to add them to the list!
The Community of Paa Mul rallied together and raised 2,200 USD towards Moises' medical expenses. Way to go Paa Mul! Jill and Jim Fedewa, of Lansing, Michigan, will be hosting Moises and Dr. Salazar during their stay in Michigan. They had eaten at the restaurant in Paa Mul, and then read about Moises and his opportunity for surgery via Playa Maya News, and opened their home to this amazing young man.
