Doctors arrive for a medical mission in Playa del Carmen.

Angel Notion, Playa del Carmen’s alternative medicine clinic, welcomed the Corazon de San Antonio Mission to their Nic-te-Ha home on Friday morning. Dr. Jorge Salazar and Dr.Kirk Milhoan of San Antonio, Texas,  are expected  to perform craniological exams on more than 45 children over the next two days and operate on as many as possible when it is required, said Lavonna Redman, Angel notion president. 

On hand to greet the doctors were Presidente Municipal de Playa del Carmen Carlos Joaquin Gonzalez, Judith Aguilar Cardena, Angel Notion directora, a representative of Goberniero Felix Gonzalez Canto and dozens of Angel Notion’s past patients and their families. The doctors expect to be able to return for another mission in January. Angel Notion is an all volunteer organization which has provided medical care to thousands since being founded 7 years ago.
